Minutes of Proceedings
The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Report 6, Royal Military College of Canada—National Defence, of the 2017 Fall Reports of the Auditor General of Canada".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the Department of Citizenship and Immigration be granted an extension until Thursday, June 14, 2018, to provide the Committee with a response to part 1 pertaining to information and orientation services providers, as well as needs assessment and referral services providers, in Recommendation 3 of the Committee’s report on Settlement Services for Syrian Refugees.
It was agreed, — That the Auditor General of Canada be invited to appear on Thursday, May 31, once the 2018 Spring Reports of the Auditor General has been tabled in the House.
It was agreed, — That the Committee host an informal meeting and light dinner for a delegation from the Guyanese Public Accounts Committee on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. after the Committee’s regularly scheduled meeting.
At 4:51 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
