Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee commenced consideration of Report 1, Call Centres, of the 2019 Spring Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 10:23 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:25 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Main Estimates 2019-20: Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General
Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the Committee resumed consideration of the Main Estimates 2019-20: Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, referred to the Committee on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Motion

David Christopherson moved, — That the Committee condem the underfunding of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG); that the Committee recommend that funding to the OAG be increased by $10.8 million annually; and that the Committee report this recommendation to the House.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That the Committee resume consideration of the study of the Main Estimates 2019-20 on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, and that David Christopherson be recognized as the first speaker on the debate.

At 10:49 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
