Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, October 28, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the conditions faced by asylum-seekers.

Richard Wex, Aaron McCrorie and Michael Duheme made statements and, with Martin Roach, answered questions.

At 2:03 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Stéphane Handfield, Yannick Boucher and Marzieh Nezakat made statements and answered questions.

At 2:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:53 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the access to information request submitted to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and communicated to the committee on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, the committee instruct the clerk to not authorize disclosure of the committee documents pertaining to the said request.

At 2:58 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
