Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of the question of privilege related to the intimidation Campaign against the member for Wellington—Halton Hills and other members.

David Vigneault made a statement and, with Cherie Henderson, answered questions.

At 7:36 p.m., John Nater took the Chair.

At 7:41 p.m., Bardish Chagger took the Chair.

Michael Cooper gave notice of the following motion:

That, in relation to its order of reference of Wednesday, May 10, 2023, concerning the intimidation campaign orchestrated by Wei Zhao against the Member for Wellington—Halton Hills and other Members, the Committee hold at least eight meetings, of at least two hours’ length, between Tuesday, July 4, 2023, and Friday, September 8, 2023, on dates to be determined by the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, for the purposes of hearing witnesses and considering related committee business.

At 8:44 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
