Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That Kelly Block be elected First Vice-Chair of the committee.
The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the committee devote Tuesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 24, 2022 to the consideration of the draft report on its study of the review of the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons;
That, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the committee commence a study on Indigenous languages on federal election ballots and that the committee hear from the Chief Electoral Officer on that date;
That, members of the committee submit their witness lists for the study on Indigenous languages on federal election ballots, to the clerk of the committee by Wednesday, March 9, 2022; and,
That, following its study on Indigenous languages on ballots, the committee commence a study on expanding the federal jurisdiction for the operational security of the Parliamentary Precinct to include sections of Wellington St and Sparks St; and, a study on foreign interference in Canadian elections.
At 12:54 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
