The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,000, for the study of the Main Estimates 2024-25, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,000, for the study of the Subject Matter of Supplementary Estimates (C) 2023-24, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the experience of women Veterans.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: “Invisible No More. The Experiences of Canadian Women Veterans”.

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 4:00 p.m. onTuesday, May 21, 2024.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the clerk and analyst of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

ORDERED, — That the clerk of the committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., after the presentation of the committee's report to the House on the experience of women veterans; and that the committee be represented by the Chair and a representative from each party.

It was agreed, — That a representative of each party send the clerk and the analyst, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024, a quote to be included in the news release.

At 12:35 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
