Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2021-22: Votes 1a and 5a under Department for Women and Gender Equality, referred to the committee on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

The Chair called Vote 1a under Department for Women and Gender Equality.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Votes 1a and 5a under Department for Women and Gender Equality to the House.

At 12:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the clerk and analysts of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release to announce the release and distribution of the letter on the committee's study of midwifery services across Canada.

It was agreed, — That parties submit witnesses lists by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021 for consideration by the committee during committee business on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

At 12:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
