The Minister made a statement and, with Guylaine F. Roy, answered questions.
Jag Sahota gave notice of the following motion:
That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study of sexual misconduct within the Canadian Armed Forces, including a review of Operation HONOUR; that the evidence and documentation received by the committee during the first session of the 42nd parliament in the report titled "A Force for Change Creating a Culture of Equality for Women in the Canadian Armed Forces" be taken into consideration by the committee in the current session; that the following witnesses be invited to appear before the committee: the Chief of Defence Staff; the Minister of Defense; the Canadian Forces Ombudsman; Lt.-Gen. Frances Allen, the Vice-Chief of Defence Staff; the Commander of the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service; It’s Just 700; Dawn McIlmoyle-Knott; retired Master Corporal Stéphanie Raymond and retired Supreme Court Justice Marie Deschamps.
Vote 5c under Department for Women and Gender Equality carried.
ORDERED, — That the Chair report Vote 5c under Department for Women and Gender Equality to the House.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study of sexual misconduct within the Canadian Armed Forces, including a review of Operation HONOUR; that the evidence and documentation received by the committee during the first session of the 42nd parliament in the report titled "A Force for Change Creating a Culture of Equality for Women in the Canadian Armed Forces" be taken into consideration by the committee in the current session; and that each party has the ability to submit a list of witnesses for a study of not more than four meetings.
It was agreed, — That witness lists for the study of sexual misconduct within the Canadian Armed Forces, be submitted by Friday, March 19, 2021.
The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Women".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report and circulate a second version of the report for final consideration.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
