Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the Subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Official Languages be granted a travel budget of $40,216.30 to travel to Brome-Missisquoi, Quebec, Cape Breton and Grand Pré de la Vallée, Nova Scotia, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Review of the Status of Official Languages in Minority Settings across Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a study budget of $ 30,000.00 for its study of Bill C-44, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2017 and other measures.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security be granted a travel budget of $1,775.00 to travel to Ottawa, Ontario, in the Spring or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of Bill C-23, An Act respecting the preclearance of persons and goods in Canada and the United States.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics be granted a travel budget of $47,481.40 to travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a travel budget of $101,476.00 to travel to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Halifax, Nova-Scotia, Montréal, Quebec, and Windsor and Toronto, Ontario, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2018 Budget.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a travel budget of $99,098.40 to travel to Vancouver, British Columbia, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Calgary, Alberta and to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2018 Budget.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a travel budget of $56,347.99 to travel to Washington, D.C., and New York, New York, United States of America, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2018 Budget.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a travel budget of $72,569.80 to travel to Sydney, Cheticamp and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Gaspé, Quebec, and Bathurst and Shippagan, New Brunswick, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Oceans Act’s Marine Protected Areas.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a travel budget of $200,000.00 to travel to Beijing, Jingzhuang and Hong Kong, China, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Hanoi, Vietnam, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of Canada's Engagement in Asia.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a travel budget of $98,462.25 to travel to Mexico City, Mexico, Washington, D.C., and New York, New York, United States of America, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the United States and Canadian Foreign Policy.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a travel budget of $27,211.60 to travel to Victoria, British Columbia, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the National Senior Strategy.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a travel budget of $19,336.60 to travel to London, Ontario, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the National Senior Strategy.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a travel budget of $18,531.60 to travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the National Senior Strategy.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Indigenous and Northern Affairs be granted a travel budget of $148,018.50 to travel to Vancouver, British Columbia, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Shannonville, Ontario, and Québec, Quebec, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of Specific Claims and Comprehensive Claims.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Public Accounts be granted a travel budget of $28,788 to travel to Fredericton, New Brunswick, in the Summer of 2017, in relation to the Annual Conference of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC) and Canadian Council of Legislative Auditors (CCOLA) Annual Conference.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on International Trade be granted a travel budget of $101,550.86 to travel to Mexico City, Mexico, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Columbus, Ohio, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States of America, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of the Priorities of Canadian Stakeholders Having an Interest in Bilateral and Trilateral Trade in North America, Between Canada, United States and Mexico.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on National Defence be granted a travel budget of $149,660.60 to travel to Kiev, Ukraine, Brussels, Belgium, and Riga, Latvia, in the Summer or Fall of 2017, in relation to its study of Canada’s Involvement in NATO.
