The Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities met in camera at 3:32 p.m. this day, in Room 228, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Larry Miller, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Mark Adler, Robert Aubin, Olivia Chow, Hon. Denis Coderre, Joe Daniel, Ed Holder, Larry Miller, Isabelle Morin, Pierre Poilievre, Mike Sullivan, Lawrence Toet and Jeff Watson.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Alexandre Lavoie, Analyst.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on September 26, 2011, the Committee resumed its study of Innovative Transportation Technologies.
 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 

At 3:53 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:53 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

 

On motion of Jeff Watson, it was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

 

On motion of Mike Sullivan, it was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Innovative Transportation Technologies".

 

On motion of Denis Coderre, it was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analyst be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

 

On motion of Jeff Watson, it was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

 

On motion of Mike Sullivan, ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

 

On motion of Denis Coderre, it was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report dissenting and/or supplementary opinions, immediately after the signature of the Chair, provided that they are no more than 2 pages in length and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

On motion of Olivia Chow, it was agreed, — That the Committee undertake its study on how competition can make Infrastructure dollars go further on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.

 

At 4:09 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
