The Standing Committee on Finance met at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Kelly Block, Robert Carrier, Bernard Généreux, Hon. John McKay, Massimo Pacetti, Daniel Paillé, James Rajotte and Mike Wallace.

 

Acting Members present: Martha Hall Findlay for Hon. John McCallum and Carol Hughes for Thomas J. Mulcair.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the Committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2010-2011: Votes 1 and 5 under CANADA REVENU AGENCY and votes 1, 5, L10, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 under FINANCE referred to the Committee on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
 

Sherry Harrison made a statement and, with Paul Rochon, Nancy Horsman, Chris Forbes, Jeremy Rudin, Richard Botham, Margaret Baxter and Greg Smith, answered questions.

 

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:36 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Filipe Dinis made a statement and, with Brian McCauley, answered questions.

 

At 4:48 p.m., Massimo Pacetti took the Chair.

 

At 4:54 p.m., James Rajotte took the Chair.
