The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 1:09 p.m. this day, in the Ballroom CD, Hilton Suites Airport Hotel, Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Chair, Andrew Telegdi, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Hon. David A. Anderson, Roger Clavet, Inky Mark, Bill Siksay, Andrew Telegdi and Lui Temelkovski.

 

Acting Members present: Nina Grewal for Rahim Jaffer .

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Benjamin Dolin, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, the Committee resumed its study of Recognition of the International Experience and Credentials of Immigrants.
 

Gerry Clément made a statement and, with Ximena Munoz, answered questions.

 

At 1:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:51 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, the Committee resumed its study of Family Reunification Issues.
 

Panel I. Family Reunification

David Matas, Kenneth Zaifman, Thomas R. Denton and Baerbel Langner-Pennell made statements and answered questions.
