The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Carolyn Bennett, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Wendy Lill, Larry Spencer, and Tony Tirabassi.
Acting Members present: Robert Lanctôt for Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Bill Young and Kevin Kerr, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Canadian Psychological Association: Dr. John C. Service, Psychologist, Executive Director. From the Canadian Psychiatric Association: Dr. Blake Woodside, President elect. From the Canadian Medical Association: Dr. Henry Haddad, M.D., President; Dr. Claude Renaud, Associate Secretary General & Chief Medical Officer. From Adele Furrie Consulting: Adele Furrie, President.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed its study of the current operation of the Disability Tax Credit form T2201, (See Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday, November 27, 2001, Meeting no. 10).
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 5:15 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
