The Sub-Committee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met at 4:03 p.m. this day, in Room 705, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Mac Harb, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Rick Casson, Mac Harb and Tony Valeri.
Acting Member present: Mario Laframboise for Pierre Paquette.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Peter Berg and Micheal Holden, Research Officers.
Witnesses: From the Federation of Canadian Municipalities: John Burrett, Senior Analyst; Jim W. Knight, Executive Director. From the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters: Mathew Wilson, Director, Trade and Commercial Policy; Mark Boudreau, Senior Director, Policy and Research.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed its study of an assessment of WTO negotiating issues from a Canadian perspective, (See Minutes of Proceedings of Wednesday, January 30, 2002, Meeting no. 17).
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 5:30 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
