Tuesday, May 1st, 2001
The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met at 3:45p.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Vice-Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Pierre Brien, John Cannis, Walt Lastewka and Dan McTeague.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Geoffrey P. Kieley, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the Canadian Society of Association Executives: Michael Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer; Bob Hamp, Manager, Communications.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to the Statutory Review of the Lobbyists Registration Act.
Michael Anderson made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 4:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
