MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Meeting No. 69

Thursday, June 13, 2002

The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met at 12:12 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Vice-Chair, Jacques Saada, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Rick Borotsik, Garry Breitkreuz, Pierre Brien, Marlene Catterall, Wayne Easter, Yvon Godin, Joe Jordan, Geoff Regan, John Richardson, Jacques Saada and Tony Tirabassi.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, research officer.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of security on the Hill.

The Committee considered a draft report.

On motion of Marlene Catterall, it was agreed, - That the draft report be adopted as the Committee’s Report to the House and that the Chair present the Report to the House.

It was agreed, - That the Clerk and the Researcher be authorized, in consultation with the Chair, to make editorial changes without changing the substance of the Report.

At 12:20 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
