The Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs, Northern Development and Natural Resources met at 11:07 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Vice-Chair, John Godfrey, presiding.
Member(s) of the Committee present: Jean-Guy Carignan, Rodger Cuzner, John Finlay, John Godfrey, Richard Marceau, Pat Martin, Guy St-Julien, Maurice Vellacott.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Mary Hurley, research officer.
Witness(es): From the The Cree-Naskapi Commission: Richard Saunders, Chairman; Robert Kanatewat, Commissioner; Philip Awashish, Commissioner.
Pursuant to Standing Order 32(5), a study of the Cree-Naskapi Commission Report 2000.
Richard Saunders, Robert Kanatewat and Philip Awashish made statements and answered questions.
At 12:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
