The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Government Operations met at 11:08 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Joseph Volpe, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Réginald Bélair, Serge Cardin, David Chatters, Yvon Godin, Ghislain Lebel, Julian Reed, Werner Schmidt, Guy St-Julien, Brent St. Denis and Joseph Volpe.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Jean-Luc Bourdages, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the Climate Change Secretariat: David Oulton, Head; Ian McGregor, Deputy Head.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to the consideration of climate change issues.
David Oulton made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 12:19 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:21 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
The Committee resumed consideration of its future business.
At 12:50 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
