The Standing Committee on Finance met at 5:22 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Maurizio Bevilacqua, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Maurizio Bevilacqua, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Ken Epp, Roger Gallaway, Albina Guarnieri, Sophia Leung, Lorne Nystrom, Karen Redman and Paul Szabo.
Acting Member present: Pauline Picard for Yvan Loubier.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jean Soucy and Blayne Haggart, Researchers; Marion Wrobel, Senior Analyst. From the Legislative Services: Susan Baldwin, Legislative Clerk.
The Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-32, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 28, 2000 (See Minutes of Proceedings, Tuesday, May 9, 2000 , Meeting No. 55).
The Committee resumed consideration of Clause 1.
Clause 1 stood.

ORDERED, -- That the Chair report Bill C-32, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 28, 2000 to the House of Commons as the Fifth Report of the Committee.
