The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:42 p.m. this day, in Rooms 209 and 269, West Block, the Chair, Maurizio Bevilacqua, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Maurizio Bevilacqua, Scott Brison, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Ken Epp, Yvan Loubier, The Hon. Lorne Nystrom and Paul Szabo.
Associate Member present: Carolyn Bennett.

In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its Pre-Budget Consultations. (See Minutes of Proceedings, Tuesday, November 2, 1999, Meeting No. 2).
David Rosenberg, Pierre Fortin, David Laidler, Jim Stanford, John McCallum, Joshua Mendelsohn, Tim O’Neill, William Robson, Andrew Jackson and Marc van Audenrode made statements and, with the other participant in the roundtable, answered questions.
At 7:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
