The Standing Committee on Finance met at 9:01 a.m. this day, in Argenson-Frontenac-Vaudreuil, Hôtel des Gouverneurs, Quebec, the Vice-Chair, Nick Discepola, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Scott Brison, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Roger Gallaway, Yvan Loubier, The Hon. Lorne Nystrom, Gary Pillitteri and Paul Szabo.
Acting Member present: Paul Forseth for Monte Solberg.

In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its Pre-Budget Consultations. (See Minutes of Proceedings, Tuesday, November 2, 1999, Meeting No. 2).
Michel Audet, François Saillant, Lucie Villeneuve, Gilbert Drouin, André Dubuc and Claude Cantin made statements and, with the other participants in roundtable I, answered questions.
At 10:39 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 10:46 a.m., the sitting resumed.
Luc Chatelan, Yves Morency, Thi Nguyen and Martin Godbout made statements and, with the other participants in roundtable II, answered questions.
At 12:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
