Wednesday, June 2, 1999

The Standing Committee on Transport met at 3:45 p.m. this day, in Room 705, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Ray Bonin, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Ray Bonin, Bill Casey, Stan Dromisky, Michel Guimond, Ovid Jackson, Lee Morrison, Lou Sekora.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: John Christopher, Researcher.

Witness: From the Tourism Industry Association of Canada: Debra Ward, President.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a study on the Competitiveness of Canada's Air Transportation System.

Debra Ward made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 4:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
