MINUTES OF PROCEEDING
The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 9:10 o’clock a.m., this day, in the Crest Hotel, Prince Rupert, British Columiba, the Vice-Chair, Gary Lunn, presiding. Other Member present: Mike Scott. In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Claude Emery and Alan Nixon, Research Officers. Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of the West Coast Fisheries. The witnesses made opening statements. Des Nobles and Fred Hawkshaw each made opening statements and answered questions. At 10:49 o'clock a.m., the sitting was suspended. At 11:00 a.m., the sitting resumed. The witnesses made opening statements. At 12:30 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to later this day.
