The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 9:15 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Rey Pagtakhan, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Leon Benoit, John McKay, Grant McNally, Réal Ménard, Rey Pagtakhan and Andrew Telegdi.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Margaret Young, Research Officer.
Witnesses:From the Department of Citizenship and Immigration: Elizabeth Tromp, Director General, Enforcement; Jeff LeBane, Director General, International Region; Joan Atkinson, Director General, Selection Branch; Ken Francis, Foreign Service Officer.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of the subject of Visitor Visas.
The witnesses answered questions.
At 11:00 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
