Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, December 5, 2022, the committee resumed its study of long-term impacts of pay gaps experienced by different genders and equity-seeking groups among faculty at Canadian Universities.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of long-term impacts of pay gaps experienced by different genders and equity-seeking groups among faculty at Canadian universities be Friday, November 10, 2023.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motions adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 22, 2022, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, and Tuesday, March 28, 2023, the committee resumed its study of support for the commercialization of intellectual property.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Support for the Commercialization of Intellectual Property".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the Government of Canada’s graduate scholarship and post-doctoral fellowship programs.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:35 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
