Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a study budget of $30,950.00 for its study of Canada’s sanctions regime.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a supplementary study budget of $26,000.00 for its study of foreign ownership and corporate concentration of fishing licenses and quota.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a supplementary study budget of $10,000.00 for its study of the ecosystem impacts and the management of pinniped populations.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Official Languages be granted a travel budget of $194,114.35 to travel to Yaounde, Cameroon; Libreville, Gabon; and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the Fall of 2023, in relation to its study of increased Francophone immigration to Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on National Defence be granted a travel budget of $264,804.58 to travel to Tallinn, Estonia; Riga, Latvia; Wroclaw, Poland; Warsaw, Poland; and London, United Kingdom, in the Summer or Fall of 2023, in relation to its study of threat analysis affecting Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces’ operational readiness to meet those threats.

At 12:40 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
