The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, before moving to finish the study Creating a Fair and Equitable Canadian Energy Transformation the committee invite the following witnesses to appear before the committee in order to round out the view and expertise necessary for making a full report to Parliament. Those witnesses being Jim Stanford, Stewart Phillip, Jacob Crane/Eriel Deranger, Chris Henderson, Samantha Smith, Angela Carter, Mike Yorke.

It was agreed, — That the Sixth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your Subcommittee met on Monday, June 20, 2022, to consider the business of the committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That, at the end of the meeting on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the committee consider the motion distributed on Monday, June 20, 2022, regarding the study on Creating a Fair and Equitable Canadian Energy Transformation.

2. That the committee adopt the following work plan for the fall:

a. That the committee conclude the draft report on the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Cap for the Oil and Gas Sector study.

b. That the committee undertake the study of Federal Assistance for Various Natural Resources Industries as its first new study.

c. That the subcommittee meet in the first two weeks to determine upcoming studies.

ORDERED, — That the Chair be instructed to seek the unanimous consent of the House to modify the Fifth Report of the committee presented on Monday, June 20, 2022, to append the dissenting opinion of the Bloc Québécois.

At 5:37 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
