Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, April 8, 2022, the committee commenced its study of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Etienne-René Massie and Chris Bate made statements and, with Helen Smiley, Martin Simard and Sheryl Groeneweg, answered questions.

At 4:39 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:40 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pierre Cléroux made a statement and, with Karen Kastner, answered questions.

At 5:15 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 5:31 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
