Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the use of social media platforms for data harvesting and unethical or illicit sharing of personal information with foreign entities.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 12:23 pm., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $2,500, for the study of the Decision of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to Not Pursue a Criminal Investigation in Relation to the SNC-Lavalin Affair, be adopted.

At 12:50 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
