It was agreed, — That access to the digital binder be granted to Dave Epp and Alistair MacGregor and that they be added to the committee's distribution list for the duration of their respective long-term substitutions or until December 31, 2024.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 24, 2024, the committee resumed its study of intergenerational transfer of farms and new entrants.

David Beauvais, Martin Caron, Jack Chaffe, Louis Dionne, Coralee Foster, Moe Garahan and Allan Melvin made statements and, with Véronique Simard Brochu, Marc St-Roch, David Tougas and Ryder Lee, answered questions.

At 6:18 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
