Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, November 5, 2020, the committee commenced consideration of Report 3, Taxation of E-Commerce, of the 2019 Spring Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the committee Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

Karen Hogan, Bob Hamilton, John Ossowski and Paul Rochon made statements and, with Ted Gallivan, Paul Le Goff, Andrew Marsland, Peter Hill and Mathieu Lequain, answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Maxime Blanchette-Joncas moved, — That the committee hold one further meeting on the study on Report 3, Taxation of E-Commerce, of the 2019 Spring Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, and that the departments involved be invited to provide updated action plans to fall 2020, and that the meeting be held before Christmas.

Debate arose thereon.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
