Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the issues related to the enumeration of rights-holders under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

François Boileau, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Sylviane Lanthier, Mark C. Power and Marc-André Roy made statements and, with Diane Côté, answered questions.

At 11:56 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 12:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
