Tuesday, May 26, 1998
The Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met in camera at 9:44 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Shaughnessy Cohen, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Eleni Bakopanos, Shaughnessy Cohen, Paul DeVillers, Paul E. Forseth, Derek Lee, Peter G. MacKay, John Maloney, Jack Ramsay et Andrew Telegdi.
Acting Members present: Chuck Cadman for Garry Breitkreuz, Pierre Brien for Michel Bellehumeur.
In attendance : From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Philip Rosen, Senior Analyst, Marilyn Pilon and Nancy Holmes, Research Officers.
The Committee proceeded to discuss future business.
It was agreed, -- That the witness list for the Forum be approved as amended.
It was agreed, -- That the Forum on the Victims’ Role take place within the week of June 15, 1998, and that two consecutive days be reserved for this purpose.
At 11:02 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
