Collection
The Collection is as eclectic as it is compelling. While the art and objects tell a story of the Parliament of Canada’s growth and development, they are not strictly Canadian in origin.
Works in the collection can be traced to all corners of the world, with many originating as gifts to Canada or its representatives by other nations or groups. A sample of those generous and unique gifts can be found inside, along with commissioned portraits of Prime Ministers and Speakers of the House, ceremonial objects that are found within the House of Commons Chamber, and much more.
