Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 17, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the ArriveCAN application.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

On motion of Stephanie Kusie, it was agreed, — That, in the context of the study of the ArriveCan application, Kristian Firth and Darren Anthony be summoned to appear before the committee on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 3:30 p.m.

On motion of Stephanie Kusie, it was agreed, — That, in the context of the study of the ArriveCan application, Vaughan Brennan be summoned to appear before the committee at a date and time to be determined by the Chair.

On motion of Gord Johns, it was agreed, — That the committee invite Doug Ettinger, Chief Executive Officer of Canada Post, to appear in relation to the study of Supplementary Estimates (C), 2023-24.

On motion of Garnett Genuis, it was agreed, — That the committee send for all task authorizations related to work done by Coradix, Dalian, and GCstrategies for the government of Canada, by 12 p.m., 30 days following the adoption of this motion.

Motion

Garnett Genuis moved, — That the committee send for a list of all subcontractors used by Coradix, Dalian, and GCstrategies for government of Canada contracts.

Debate arose thereon.

It was agreed — That the motion be amended by adding after the words ''government of Canada contracts'' the following: '' - contratcs going back 12 years; and that the documents be provided to the clerk of the committee by 12:00 p.m., 30 days following the adoption of this motion''.

It was agreed, — That the motion, as amended, be adopted.

The motion, as amended, read a follows:

That the committee send for a list of all subcontractors used by Coradix, Dalian, and GC Strategies for government of Canada contracts going back 12 years; and that the documents be provided to the clerk of the committee by 12 p.m., 30 days following the adoption of this motion.

At 5:27 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
