Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, February 7, 2024, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-352, An Act to amend the Competition Act and the Competition Tribunal Act.

Pursuant to Standing Order 75(1), consideration of Clause 1 (short title) was postponed.

The Chair called Clause 2.

Jagmeet Singh made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:02 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $10,500.00 for the study of Bill C-352, An Act to amend the Competition Act and the Competition Tribunal Act, be adopted.

Pierre Larouche, Matthew Boswell, Antonio Di Domenico made statements and,with Anthony Durocher, answered questions.

At 1:13 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
