Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 21, 2023, the committee resumed its study of policy decisions and market forces that have led to increases in the cost of buying or renting a home in Canada.

The Minister made a statement and, with Chris Forbes, answered questions.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:14 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada be reinvited to appear regarding the committee’s study of policy decisions and market forces that have led to Increases in the cost of buying or renting a home in Canada.
