Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the committee commenced its study of the history of and current display of hate symbols and emblems in Canada.

Bernie M. Farber, Richard Marceau, Roselyne Mavungu, Jaime Kirzner-Roberts, Roopnauth Sharma, Daniel Panneton, Roderick Brereton, and Farley Flex made statements and, with Michael Levitt, answered questions.

At 5:15 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 5:24 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
