The following figure shows the total expenditures for all committees from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, broken down by “Witness Expenses”, “Videoconferences”, “Working Meals”, “Hospitality”, “Other” and “Travel”. “Other” includes expenditures such as reports, professional services, audio-visual equipment and minor miscellaneous expenses.

Figure 1 shows that from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, total expenditures for all committees in thousands of dollars were $138,000 for “Videoconferences” or 84% of total spending, $18,000 for “Working Meals” or 11% of total spending, $7,000 for “Witness Expenses” or 4% of total spending, $2,000 for “Other” or 1% of total spending, $0 for “Hospitality” and $0 for Travel”.
