Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, February 17, 2021, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-218, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (sports betting).

Committee Business

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding any prior decisions, amendments to Bill C-218 be submitted to the clerk no later than Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. (ET) and that briefs related to this bill be acccepted until Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (ET).

It was agreed, — That, at the next meeting of the committee, a short time be allowed for Rhéal Éloi Fortin to move and debate the motions for which notice was given on Monday, February 22, 2021.

At 1:11 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
