Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the committee resumed its study of Canada-China relations.

The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

Motion

Garnett Genuis moved, — That the Third report of the Subcommittee on agenda and procedure as well as the work plan regarding the national security dimensions of the Canada-China relationship be adopted.

Debate arose thereon.

Amendment

Stéphane Bergeron moved, — That the motion be amended by adding, after the word “relationship”, the following: “, including the addition to the work plan of Mr. Michel Juneau-Katsuya and Mr. Ting-Shen Lin as witnesses for the second hour of meeting No. 10,”.

Peter Fragiskatos moved, — That the committee do now adjourn.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
