Cathy McLeod gave notice of the following motion:
That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Standing Committee on Natural Resources immediately undertake a study on the cancelation of the Teck Frontier Mine; that witnesses for the study include the Minister of Natural Resources and officials from Natural Resources Canada; that the study be comprised of no less than 5 meetings; and that these meetings be televised.
At 4:44 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 4:49 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
ORDERED, — That the Chair send a letter to the Chair of the Standing Committee on International Trade, informing her that the committee has studied the subject matter of clauses 207 to 212 (Part 2) (Canadian Energy Regulator Act) of Bill C-4, An Act to implement the Agreement between Canada, the United States of America and the United Mexican States, that the committee heard from officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development and from the Department of Natural Resources and that the committee has no amendment or recommendation to propose.
At 4:54 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
