| May 11, 2016 — Mr. Clarke (Beauport—Limoilou) — That it be an instruction to the Standing Committee on Finance that it have the power during its consideration of Bill C-15, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 22, 2016 and other measures, to divide this bill into two bills: the first consisting of provisions regarding the Canadian Forces Members and Veterans Re-establishment and Compensation Act, provisions stipulating that the Minister of Veterans Affairs must pay to a person who received a disability award or a death benefit under that Act before April 1, 2017, an amount that represents the increase in the amount of the disability award or the death benefit, as the case may be, and consequential amendments to the Children of Deceased Veterans Education Assistance Act, the Pension Act and the Income Tax Act; and the second bill consisting of all the other provisions of Bill C-15. |

| Q-2212 — May 11, 2016 — Mr. Donnelly (Port Moody—Coquitlam) — With regard to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) and the construction of the Site C hydroelectric dam in northeastern British Columbia: (a) how many DFO staff members are responsible for monitoring the project’s compliance with fish habitat protections; (b) how many independent environmental monitors are responsible for the project’s compliance with fish habitat protections; (c) how many onsite DFO inspections have taken place since construction began and when did they take place; (d) how many onsite inspections have independent environmental monitors conducted since construction began and when did they take place; and (f) has the Ministry consulted with local First Nations to measure the impact of the project on their fishing rights? |
| Q-2222 — May 11, 2016 — Mr. Julian (New Westminster—Burnaby) — With regard to Transport Canada’s use of a database called GradeX to predict potential accident hot spots at railway crossings: (a) how long has Transport Canada maintained this database; (b) who is consulted in preparing and updating the lists on this database; (c) what metrics are used by Transport Canada to assess potential accident hot spots; (d) how does Transport Canada measure whether a crossing poses a high risk for collisions; (e) what are the 500 highest risk railway crossings as of May 10, 2016; (f) for each of the crossings listed in (e), and since the government began collecting this data in the database, how many (i) accidents have occured, (ii) fatalities have occurred; (g) how many public complaints have been received about each of the crossings listed in (e) since the government began collecting this data in the database; and (h) does the government have any plans to make this database available to the public and municipalities, and, if so, when and how does it intend to do so? |

| M-60 — May 11, 2016 — Mr. Dubé (Beloeil—Chambly) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should, following consultations with provinces, territories, municipalities, and First Nations, carry out a review of the Vessel Operation Restriction Regulations with the objective of facilitating and accelerating the process allowing local administrations to request restrictions regarding the use of vessels on certain waters in order to improve how waters are managed, public safety and the protection of the environment. |
