Minutes of Proceedings
At 12:12 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:18 p.m., the sitting resumed.
On motion of Phil McColeman, it was agreed, — That, given the time constraints, the Committee authorize the Chair to:
(i) prepare and present a letter to the Minister of Finance, in the form of an interim report, to be presented to the House of Commons on Friday, February 26, 2016, summarizing the Pre-Budget Consultations hearings and describing the process elements taken by the Committee to date;
(ii) along with the interim report, attach addenda including the list of witnesses, the unedited testimony of all the witnesses and the list of organizations and individuals who submitted a written brief;
(iii) continue directing the drafting of a final report to Parliament, to be approved by the Committee and presented to the House no later than Friday, March 11, 2016.
It was agreed, — That the Committee meet on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. for the consideration of the draft report of the 2016 pre-budget consultations.
At 12:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
