Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing on Perspectives on Climate Change Action in Canada: A Collaborative Report from Auditors General.

Julie Gelfand made a statement and, with Kimberley Leach, answered questions.

At 11:18 a.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

At 11:37 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 12:37 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:39 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $39,500, for the study of Bill C-69, an Act to enact the Impact Assessment Act and the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, to amend the Navigation Protection Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, be adopted.

At 1:16 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
