The Committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

John Oliver moved, — That Bill S-233, in Clause 7, be amended, by replacing, in the English version, line 17 on page 4 with the following:“side Canada and then leaves Canada, as long as”
After debate, the question was put on the amendment of John Oliver and it was agreed to.

The Title carried.
The Bill, as amended, carried.
