Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on June 16, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study on the human rights situation in Burundi.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Division and Human Rights Violations in Burundi".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Subcommittee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Subcommittee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Subcommittee's website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Subcommittee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held after the tabling of the Committee's report to the House on the human rights situation in Burundi; and that all members of the Subcommittee be present.

At 1:55 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
