APPENDIX G: UNITED NATIONS’ BUDGET FOR PEACE OPERATIONS, 2003-2019 (US$ BILLIONS)

The figure provides the United Nations’ (UN’s) peace operations budget for each fiscal year between 2003–2004 and 2018–2019; the UN’s fiscal year is 1 July to 30 June. The figure shows an increase in that budget from US$2.8 billion in 2003–2004 to US$8.5 billion in 2014–2015, before a decline from US$8.3 billion in 2015–2016 to US$6.7 billion in 2018–2019.

Note: The United Nations’ fiscal year starts on 1 July and ends on 30 June.
