The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the House Administration study options for the creation and management of separate Twitter handles for each committee and report back to the Committee.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: “Committee Activities and Expenditures – April 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018”.

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The Clerk gave a presentation on the financial status of the global envelope for committee activities.

The Clerk made a presentation to the Committee.

It was agreed, — That the Guide for Submitting Briefs to House of Commons Committees be updated to: (a) request that briefs include a summary of recommendations at the beginning of the document; (b) include accessibility guidelines for briefs; and (c) clarify that a brief should be a single document, including any appendices.

The Clerk made a presentation to the Committee.

It was agreed, — That the standard committee report cover page be updated.

At 1:57 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
