Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a briefing session to provide an overview of the Canadian Coast Guard and its mandate.

Jeffery Hutchinson made a statement and, with Mario Pelletier, answered questions.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

At 5:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Motion

Robert J. Morrissey moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following recorded division:
